Putnu Sala - Bird Island (Junior Camp)

Our youngest campers ages 4 to 6, our little birds or "putnini" will participate in fun-filled activities that allow for involvement, social interaction, educational opportunities, personal growth and creativity.  The program is offered for one week.  Children will have fun playing games, singing, learning to cook, making art, exploring nature and swimming with our caring and talented leaders and camp counsellors.

Our leaders and counsellors emphasize safety in all activities as well as the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.  Leaders are trained in First Aid, CPR and water safety.

Many of our young campers (5 and 6 year olds) are not used to sleeping in a new enviroment and children in Putnu Sala must have a parent onsite. We offer room rentals and meal plans for parents to enjoy the first-time camp experiences with their children and help with the overnights.

We welcome children 4 and under in our day camp program.  These young campers must be accompanied by an adult in all activities and are encouraged to participate in all elements of the program.  The day camp program runs from 8am to 6pm.
